This research project aims to develop and empirically validate an explanatory model that examines the relationships among institutional ethics (principles, values, and governance mechanisms), leadership styles (transformational, transactional, and passive-avoidant), strategic decision-making processes (decision quality, shared understanding, commitment, and affective acceptance), and academic outcomes (teaching, research, and engagement with society) in accredited universities in Chile.
The findings are expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of how ethical governance and leadership influence institutional performance and academic excellence within higher education.
